Do I choose a size?
No. You measure on the product page, and we pick the size. Fit & measuring →
Can I skip measuring and order my usual size?
No. Every pair is made after it is ordered, in the size your measurement gives. That is also why a wrong size costs half to put right.
Socks or bare feet when measuring?
Bare feet, on paper, standing, full weight on the foot.
My feet are two different lengths.
Measure both and type both. The longer foot decides the size. If the difference is more than 8 mm, we look at the pair by hand before making.
Do the shoes stretch?
A little, in the first week. Crazy about 2 mm; Smooth, Suede, Nubuck, Zaragoza and Metallic about 5 mm. The size we pick does not count on it.
What are the leathers?
Crazy: waxed, matte, keeps marks, gives the least. Smooth: even surface, medium give. Suede: soft, napped. Nubuck: fine velvet surface, matte. Zaragoza: waxed, lightens where it bends. Metallic: smooth with a metallic finish. All A-grade cow leather. Leathers →
What is the sole?
Buffalo leather, 5 to 8 mm. One type on every model. Thickness varies a little from hide to hide; both shoes of a pair come from the same or near-identical thickness.
What makes them earthing shoes?
One copper rivet passes through the sole at the ball of the foot, the K1 point. Leather conducts; there is no rubber or plastic layer between your foot and the ground.
Where does grounding work?
On earth, grass, sand, stone and unsealed concrete. Not on asphalt, wood floors or carpet.
Do I feel the rivet?
No. It sits flush with the sole and is covered by the insole.
Can I wear them in the rain?
No. Leather upper, leather sole: they are not made for wet days. Summer outdoors, winter indoors — home, office, school. If a pair does get wet, wear it while it dries; it takes the shape of your foot.
Do you repair?
No. If the sole wears through, a local cobbler can add a rubber or leather sole on top of it.
Can I change the size after ordering?
Write to us with your order number at once. Once the leather is cut, the size cannot change.
Can I change the colour or model after ordering?
Same answer: write at once, with the order number. Once the leather is cut, no.

Do you ship to my country?
United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, the Gulf, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with delivery times on the Shipping page. Elsewhere, write to us first. Shipping →
Will I pay customs?
United States: no. Duties and shipping are in the price; nothing is due at the door.
Everywhere else: shipping is in the price. Import tax and any duty are set by your country and collected by the carrier on delivery. A parcel refused at the door is refunded less shipping both ways.
