These are the first Turkish style boots I’ve owned. They’re the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, and especially once they’re broken in. I decided to order another pair because my first pair were getting worn out. They’re my ONLY pair of shoes, and I’ve worn them daily for work, while doing lots of digging and landscaping, hiking, hardy activities — which I’m pretty sure they weren’t designed for. They’ve held up very well considering the level of intense situations they were used for, and the lack of any conditioning or care that I did for the leather. Even months later I still had people stopping me and asking me where I got them. It’s rare to see anyone wear this type of shoe in the US. But people loved them. I got lots of compliments. Easily my favorite pair of shoes/boots in my life, and I will surely buy more of them.

Very comfortable right out of the box. These fit my feet perfectly with plenty of room for my toes to spread out. The earth colored (crazy) leather is pretty stiff at first making it difficult to slip on and sometimes requires a finger but this might change as i imagine the leather will soften over time, but I might order a softer leather if I really wanted a slip on. I will be ordering again, I think I will have to have the lace up shoes and the boots. I'm not sure how the copper plug would work in the snow or wet conditions as it will probably allow water to soak up through no matter how much waterproofing has been applied to the leather, so I hope it will be possible to order without the plugs, although I like them for normal conditions. I was pleasantly surprised that tariffs were not applied and shipping was fast.

I ordered these knowing shipping could be dicey since I’m on the east coast of the USA and these came from Turkey. Halil provided awesome customer service. The shoes arrived within the delivery window. Initially I was worried because they felt a little tight on my feet. They loosed up within a day without irritation or abrasion to my feet, which tend to be delicate. And these are now my favorite shoes. These are beautiful, well crafted boots, made with care! They were made and shipped to me swiftly. And, I was lucky that they made it through customs quickly... Which is something this artisan clearly has no control over. I have noticed that when I wear the leather earthing boots for my morning chores, my knees are happy and feel good, even after several hours of working. When I wear my rubber rain boots, my knees are aching by the time I am finished, and I feel more tired. I look forward to many years of feeling the earth, while my feet are protected with natural materials!

Well mixed feelings. Absolutely very comfortable shoes but at the same time VERY slippery on wet and absolutely pain in the ass to weather proof. I have put a lot of wax on them. Filled up all stitches and connecting points but they still absorbing water via insoles. I will try to put some more wax on insoles but i might end up ice skating. The are very grounding though. No need for copper coil with leather insoles rly they are conducting enough. Overall great shoes but think twice if you live in wet country like Scotland.

I've had 3 pairs of yemeni shoes from different sellers and these are by far the highest quality. It's the small details that really make these stand apart. The heel is stiff and does not bend. The leather is warm and feels high quality; the inside leather especially is supple and incredibly soft. Near the toes it maintains its shape and does not press down. Wide toe box without having too large of a foot volume. Overall, 10/10, most comfortable shoes I own. The color is a little darker than I had imagined, but it's a lovely dark brown.

I got these shoes so that I could be more connected when I garden. The quality is nice, but I would advise to order a size LARGER when ordering. I wear a size 43 (Europe) which in their size chart corresponds to a size 12 here in the USA. I measured my heel to longest toe and it is 11 inches. The guy said that he would do his best to make sure they made it to fit. However, when I received the shoe, I knew right away the size was too small. I estimate they sent me a size 11 US. It was shipped from Turkey so I imagined that returning would be difficult. Truth is that I didn´t contact customer service, but probably should have. I wore them today, but my toes are all scrunched up at the top. Overall, the shoe and concept is nice but they do run a size small, so just beware when you order you should probably order 1 size up.
