Size Guide

Your feet deserve shoes made just for them

Every ede pair is handcrafted on a special shoe last from natural leather that gently molds to your feet. Finding your size takes just a minute — here's how.

How to measure your feet

  1. Place your foot on a sheet of paper on a hard floor.
  2. Mark the back of your heel and the tip of your longest toe (it isn't always the big toe).
  3. Measure the distance between the two marks — in millimeters if possible.
  4. Do this for both feet. It's normal if they're a little different — use the longer measurement.
  5. Unsure? Snap a photo of the paper with your marks and send it to us — we'll confirm your size personally.

Measurements below are based on foot length. US sizes apply to orders.

Fit notes from the atelier

  • We use a special shoe last. It's normal to choose a different size from your usual shoe size — trust your measurement, not your habit.
  • If you're unsure, choose the size closest to the shoes you currently wear (smaller or larger).
  • Leather stretches with wear: stiff "crazy" leathers relax about 2 mm after the first week; softer leathers (smooth, suede, nubuck) about 5 mm. Snug at first is fine; painful is not.
  • Special foot structure? Very round, short, wide, or thin-and-long feet — please talk to us before ordering. Every pair is made to order; a two-minute message saves a two-week exchange.

Still unsure?

Send us your foot length and the model you're considering — we answer personally from the workshop, usually within a day. Getting your size right before we cut the leather matters to us as much as it does to you.
