Fit. Slip-on; a high instep may need a hand check. You measure once; we pick the size. The shoe is cut 4 mm longer and 2 mm wider than your foot.

Leather. Waxed pull-up: waxed surface that lightens where it bends. Gives about 5 mm in the first week. Hickory is a rich mid brown; each hide differs a little. A-grade cow leather.

Sole. Buffalo leather, 5–8 mm, flexible, no heel. Hot-stamped for grip, with one copper rivet under the front of the foot. Not for rain; if wet, wear it while it dries.
